More Than Water, North Korea Needs the Water for Life

The work of Christ in this world primarily consisted of two things: teaching and healing (i.e., ministry of the Word, and ministry of Mercy.) He has charged His Bride--the Church--to carry on His ministries. We are largely limited, under these circumstances, to ministries of Mercy. Paul tells us that we are to be all things to all men, and God has blessed medical work as He has blessed preaching.

There is no more effective medical ministry than the prevention of disease. Water-born pathogens are the greatest threat to public health in the world today, particularly to the very young and the very old. In Wellspring, we have the opportunity to present a cup of cold, clean water to the people of North Korea, in Christ's name.
